—Don’t forget about the action-packed June summer snooking around Anna Maria Island. Many fish move through the passes and onto the beaches this time of year, and my clients and I have been able to capitalize on the opportunity.
—Live baits such as small sand perch, or pilchards have an irresistible affect on these moving snook, and even the large females have been readily feeding.
—This movement of snook, and the fun sight-casting action that can go with it should last through July, and maybe even into August if we’re lucky.
