—–The April snook bite is still really strong when focusing on the right tides. On higher tides the fish move up onto the flats and as the tide drops, the snook move out to the nearest deeper potholes or grass edges to wait for the smorgasbord to wash past. There are a ton of big breeder fish around that are starting to bite better with each sustained week of warm weather.
—–Trout seem to be in full blown spring feeding mode right now. We’re catching a bunch of big ones.
—– And I’m starting to see more and more redfish around the flats as we move through the month.
