—–Fishing local nearshore wrecks, reefs, and areas of live bottom has been producing plenty of mangrove snappers, cobia, catch-and-release groupers, flounder, mackerel, sharks, and kingfish. I’ve been using live bait for most of these guys, although we’ve caught a bunch of kingfish trolling plugs, as well as live bait, this month.
—–The snappers were seeing this month have been abundant and hungry!
Kingfish are hard hitting.
Hog snapper are a great surprise!
Everyone wants a cobia!
Lots of sharks around.
